What We've Done
We celebrated our 10th Anniversary in 2023

Purchased 30 beds for the new nursing home (Villa Renaissance) that were not funded by the government in the move to the new facility

Paid for the making of a stain glass window for the Chapel

Set up area for a Bistro to operate

Acquired outdoor/patio furniture for each garden area

Financed the landscaping around the nursing home

Picked out Christmas presents for each of the residents for the last seven years

Obtained a bariatric body scale

Procured a bladder tester
-
Organized events in which our residents and their guests could celebrate together

Collaborated with the town in organizing a parade to honour our health care workers during the pandemic 2021

Created and continue to manage a “In Memoriam” fund. Donations can be made in memory of a loved one, or to support the foundation on behalf of a resident, family or friend, or for any cause that is special to the donor.

Purchased specialized walker “STEDYMATE WALKER II” to encourage residents to be active.

​Purchased a defibrillator (AED) for the Home.

Plans for 2024-25
Raise $25,000 to purchase a Multipurpose wheelchair washer. This piece of equipment will enable the housekeeping staff to ensure that all resident’s wheel chairs or walkers are washed regularly.

We are a bit short but hope to have it ordered and delivered by mid-July.

Preparing the gardens for the summer

Work on projects to subsidize a new adapted vehicle so that we can take the residents on outings.
